HOW DID WE BEGIN? ABCreations is a small business established by Alysha & Brenton in July 2017. We are self-taught “Do-It-Yourself”ers. We started by making floral wreaths and bracelets at local vendor shows in the Niagara Region. Searching for a niche, chewellery & fidget toys were quickly added to the mix. The following year, we renamed ourselves to “ABCreations Mama & Baby Boutique” to accommodate our growing number of products and our desire to include self-care products for mamas.
WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND OUR PRODUCTS? Alysha works full-time as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Working with children with special needs made her question if there are products available to assist in children’s development, which is when she discovered chewellery and the lack of availability for quality teething products in the Niagara Region. After researching reputable Canadian suppliers, she ordered beads and began designing dozens of chewellery and fidget toys to offer a variety of pre-made teething options.
About a year into making chewellery, we began dabbling into product options focusing on mothers of babies. Mothers work hard caring for their baby, you deserve to treat yourself too! As someone with sensitivities to scents/dyes and eczema on her hands and face, Alysha wanted to produce items with simple ingredients. This became our motto for self-care. We developed lip balm, gentle soaps, face masks & more! We also wanted to offer healthier alternatives to promote relaxation for mothers: soy candles and essential oil infused products. All of our products have been personally tested by yours truly.
HOW DO WE MAKE OUR PRODUCTS? All of our products are hand-made with love by Alysha or Brenton.
WHAT ARE OUR PRIORITIES? We value quality over quantity! We want to offer high quality products using reputable supplies for materials and ingredients.
